We headed up to Bundaberg for the Queensland Computers STEM Demo Day, sharing a setup with MakerHero so we could show the full Micromelon platform to teachers from around the region.
Teachers from schools across Wide Bay-Burnett got to drive Rovers through wooden mazes, try out the Code Editor's blocks-to-Python progression, and ask whatever questions they had. Days like this are particularly valuable for regional schools that don't always get easy access to STEM providers, or the chance to trial robotics platforms before committing to a purchase.
Getting Micromelon into schools outside of South East Queensland is a real focus for us. Regional events like this one are a big part of how we make that happen.
