We won the QUT Bluebox Robotics Accelerator, a competitive program QUT runs to support early-stage robotics companies in Queensland. There was a strong field of robotics startups in there, so being picked as the winners was a real boost for us at that stage.
Bluebox gave us mentorship from people who'd actually built and sold robotics products before, dedicated workspace, and a kick along to get the Rover and the software ready for real classrooms. The program pushed us to validate what we were building with real teachers, sharpen the business side, and start thinking properly about commercial launch.
Honestly, this was the moment we went from "two guys building a robot in a garage" to "a real company with a product going into pilot schools". That shift is hard to overstate, and the support out of QUT made it possible.
